In October 2013, my good friend, the exceptionally skilled polar photographer, Martin Hartley, along with his team mates Ben Saunders and Alistair Humphreys, will attempt to make the first return journey to the South Pole on Foot.  The astonishing distance of 1,800 miles will be the longest unsupported polar journey in history.  In the summer I posted a blog in which the team were out training in The Shetland Islands.  This time, training is stepped up as Ben's team of polar explorers travel to Greenland for a 14 expedition to test gear and themselves.
